Software Engineer - Data Science / Analytics

As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you’ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.

Client Operations Site Reliability Engineering team is responsible for:

Developing, supporting, and monitoring the health of end users products
Identifying anomalies and delivering mechanism to notify a customer when a problem that may impact their day to day functions or a major outages
Communicating to customer with relevant information and when the problem has been resolved through automation and various channels
Developing automated solutions to resolve end user incidents identified through pattern identification that are currently being resolved manually through a series of repeatable steps
Developing and enhancing internal toolsets used by the service desk to increase analyst efficiency in resolving customers problem

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

Deep understanding of software engineering skills such as problem analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement required
Must have 6+ years of experience in technologies like Java/J2EE and/or Python
2+ years of experience with Software delivery using Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban
Expertise over application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm
Experience with parallel and distributed computing required
Experience with data science, data engineering, machine learning, big data technologies is a plus
Education – Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Computer Science or a related field
Good understanding of network concepts and devices
