Finance Intern

The Administrative Offices of People Incorporated Mental Health Services centralizes operational support for our programs. Our Finance department drives fiscal responsibility in an organization with an annual operating budget of roughly $43 million. We are searching for a Data Analyst to join our team.

The Data Analyst is an integral part of our team and will be responsible for identifying trends and developments in our fiscal environments and presenting these findings and corrective recommendations. The employee in this role will:

• Compile and organize financial information for the company
  
• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
  
• Monitor results of financial data against plans, forecasts and budgets
  
• Gather, organize, document, and interpret relevant financial and data information
  
• Partner with other departments on creating dashboards, summaries and outcomes that lead to specific and targeted action
  
• Review month end reconciliation practices and outcomes
  
• Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts
  
• Partner with Finance colleagues to complete Request for Proposals (RFP’s) and other grant requests

Required Qualifications:

• Valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance
  
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a related business discipline
  
• 0-1 years of experience in financial and data analysis, research and financial reporting
